Industry Analysts, Inc. uses PayPal to process your on-line payment because we view it as a cost-effective solution. We believe you'd prefer that we keep our prices as low as possible.

Founded in 1998 and located in San Jose CA, PayPal provides you a secure web connection to complete your financial transaction. Here's how the process works:

  1. Select the Industry Analysts report you wish to purchase from our web site. From one of the following pages, click the title. You'll see a description of the report, have the option to view a "lite" or summary version, if available, and be able to buy the full report.
  2. Choose "Buy Full Report" to purchase the full report.
  3. If you've not signed up with us, you're prompted to do so. If you're already registered, enter your user ID and password. Registration with us is necessary because we keep all documents you purchase in the "My Reports" area on our site. You may download the documents you've purchased as many times as you like for your own personal use.
  4. We display your name and address, plus the document title and price. This is the final price; no sales tax or other fees are added later.
  5. If this is the document you wish to buy, click "Purchase"; you're directed to the PayPal secure site. If not, use your browser's "back" button to return to the selection page. In many cases, a summary or "lite" version is available to help you make your selection.
  6. Once in the PayPal secure web site, if you're a PayPal member, you may choose to login with PayPal and pay from any of your funding sources. To purchase an Industry Analysts document, you're not required to have a PayPal account -- or to establish one. We'll focus on this latter case, i.e, you do not have a PayPal account or do not wish to use it. PayPal has a couple of ways of displaying this option:
    • "Don't have a PayPal Account? Continue checkout now to pay securely using your credit card: Continue Checkout. Signing up for a PayPal account is optional."
    • "If you do not currently have a PayPal account Click here."
  7. Choose the option that's displayed and PayPal asks for:
    • Your credit card type, number, expiration date, and security code from the back of the card
    • Your name, address, and E-mail. For your convenience, we've provided these from your Industry Analysts registration; however you may change them, for example, to pay with a corporate credit card
    • Your phone number
    • And there is a graphic security number to retype
  8. After you've dispatched this information, PayPal requests your confirmation. If appropriate, choose "Pay."
  9. On the confirmation screen, you have an opportunity to sign up with PayPal. If you wish to do this; select the option to save your info with PayPal.
  10. When you choose "Return to Merchant," we display the transaction status and direct you to "My Reports."
  11. You may always reach "My Reports." via the first page of our site.

PayPal does not communicate your credit card information to us, rather completes the transaction and informs us of the result.
